VHS Coffee Table by T76 Design
This VHS coffee table from T76 Design in Amsterdam was hand-carved out of teak in Indonesia. It measures 49x25.5x16” and weighs about 80 pounds. It’s a limited edition. All of these things combined means, of course, that it runs pretty steep: $1,980 to be exact. But in our hearts, it’s priceless. You can order it by e-mailing T76 Design.

Eric Tan’s Long Live The King.
If yo’re a movie fan and you spend any amount of time on the internet (which, clearly, you do), then it’s likely that you’ve seen the work of Eric Tan. Tan recently created this incredible piece based on The Lion King. In his own words:
Eric Hutchison, a fellow artist at Disney came up with a cool idea to create our own stylized piece based on one of Disney’s famous villains. These interpretive pieces would eventually go into a hallway gallery on campus which showcased each artists’ take on a familiar foe. I chose Scar from The Lion King.
It sounds like this was a one-off piece, but hopefully it’ll go for sale sometime in the future. As The Lion King is my favorite Disney movie, I’d kill to have this hanging on my walls. We’ll keep our ears to the ground.

Who Says Walter White Can’t Be Adorable?
What you can’t tell by looking at these pictures (and something I discovered by looking through Sir Create’s Tumblr) is just how tiny these little sculptures are. They’re all only slightly bigger than a quarter. (!)
I’m particularly fond of Walter White and MacReady, mostly because of their little stands (I love the Norris Thing). Dear Sir Create, open an Etsy shop and sell the heck out of these because I want to buy all of ‘em.

Droids Have Feelings Too.
I think it’s safe to say that Star Wars, as a design feature, is played out. Just do a search for “star wars” on DeviantArt and you’ll be bombarded with fan-made imagery, 99% of it being downright terrible.
But every now and then, a Star Wars-inspired design will leak through that is truly good, and I think this series of “Droid Feelings” images by an artist known as Paperbeatsscissors falls into that category.
I especially like the little R5. Poor fella.
